Soeur Ida Cormier, n.d.s.c.
Sister Ida Cormier, 91, in religion, Sister Arthur-Marie, of Maison-Mère des Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, Moncton, passed away on Sunday September 5th, 2010 at the convent following a lengthy illness.

Born September 21, 1918 in Saint-Paul, NB, she was the daughter of the late Luc and Élise (Johnson) Cormier.

She was in the 73rd year of her religious profession.

Besides her religious family, she is survived by a brother, Roger of Dieppe, a sister, Viola of Moncton, several nieces and nephews.

She was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Aurele, Clorice, Évariste, Prémélite, Wilbrod, Imelda, and Marie.

Remains resting at Pavillon Notre-Dame-d'Acadie of Maison-mère des Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, 125 King Street, Moncton (Godfrey Street entrance) from where the funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday September 7 at 9 a.m. Interment will be in Memramcook.
Visiting hours Monday from 2 to 9 p.m., and Tuesday morning from 8 a.m.
Solemn Vespers will be held Monday evening. at 7 p.m
