Hector LeBlanc
1917-2010
Hector LeBlanc, 93, of Veterans Health Centre, Moncton, passed away on
Sunday, September 5, 2010. Born May 9, 1917 in Memramcook, he was the
son of the late Donat and Zoë (Vigneault) LeBlanc. Hector was a
veteran of W.W. 2, and a retired employee of Swift with over 35 years
service.
He is survived by his three children: Ronald (Judith) of Moncton, Diane Levesque (Jean-Paul) of Dieppe, Patricia Jensen (Paul) of Fredericton; five grandchildren: Stephen, Marc, Derek, André, and Ginette; seven great-grandchildren: Keith, Jacob, Abby, Nicolas, Nyla, Jesse and Alexandre; two sisters: Rose Landry (late Aimé), and Vi Leaman (late Ron) all of Moncton, a brother, Alyre LeBlanc (Elizabeth) of Moncton, his special friend, Mary Hayward, many nieces, and nephews.
He is predeceased by his wife, Marie Landry; two sisters: Exelda Gautreau, and Hermeline McQuade.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette’s Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Tuesday, September 7th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until departure (10:20) for Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, Moncton, from where the funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.
