Anna Boucher, 92, of Auberge du Soleil in Dieppe, passed away on Sunday March 22, 2020 at The Moncton Hospital. Born on July 27, 1927 in Notre-Dame, she was the daughter of the late Alyre and Emma (Bourgeois) Bastarache.
She is survived by two daughters: Simonne Boucher of Moncton, and Denise Breau (Camille) of Cocagne; three sons: Edouard (Cori) of Cheshire, CT, Terrance (Sue) of New Westminster, BC, and Ernest (Laurie) of South Meriden, CT; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was predeceased by four sisters: Lina, Rita, Marie, and Eliza; three brothers: Célestin, François, and infant Emile.
In light of the current Coronavirus pandemic and at the request of the family, visitation and funeral will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900). Interment will be in Notre-Dame. In memory of Anna, a contribution to Alzheimer Society, the Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation, or the Food Depot Alimentaire would be appreciated.
