Aline Goguen, 95, of Saint-Antoine, passed away Saturday March 14, 2020 at the Foyer Saint-Antoine. Born on June 25, 1924 in Grande-Digue, she was the daughter of the late Donat and Azélie (Richard) Babineau.
She will be sadly missed by four children: Majella, Jean-Marc (Norma) of Saint-Antoine, Ginette Goguen-Daigle (Réal) and Daniel (Lise) of Moncton; nine grandchildren: Gaétan Goguen, Julien Goguen (Denise), Franceline Bugge (David), Annie Dietrich (Kent), François Goguen, Stéphanie Goguen, Christopher Boucher (Julie), Camille Goguen (Evan) and Amélie Goguen (Paul-Henri) ; seven great-grandchildren: Alicia Goguen-Knockwood, Faith Meuse, Alexandre Goguen, Noah Bugge, Alexander Dietrich, Benjamin Dietrich and Annabelle Boucher; three sisters: Jeannette Girouard (Paul), Louise Christopher (Joe) both of Saint-Antoine and Mai Cormier of Notre-Dame; three brothers: Aurèle, Ernest (Barbara) both of Saint-Antoine, and Gérald (Lucille) of Terrebonne, Qué; one daughter-in-law, Diane of Saint-Antoine; two sisters-in-law: Bella Richard of Montréal and Eugénie Babineau of Rogersville; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, Aline was predeceased by her husband, Aristide (1980); one son, Claude; three sisters: Lina LeBlanc (Yvon), Rita Cormier (Gérald) and infant Marie; three brothers: Yvon, Donald and Alphonse at a young age; one sister-in-law, Thérèse.
In light of the current Coronavirus pandemic and at the request of the family, visitation and funeral will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). In memory of Aline, a contribution to the Foyer Saint-Antoine would be appreciated.
